RAW EGG PROTEIN? IS IT GOOD FOR BUILDING MUSCLE?

The latest claim made by our non-scientific haters was that cooking food is “unnatural” and that “our bodies aren’t adapted to breaking down cooked food”. Well… Lets look at eggs.

When five fasted people were given raw eggs vs cooked eggs with EXACTLY the same macros, this study found that 91%of the cooked egg protein was absorbed, while only 51% of the raw proten!

Although digestibility might be altered if eating eggs in combination with other foods, this small but well controlled study suggests that cooked eggs are the best choice.
